CTL pleased to announce that beginning May 16, a team of students will be available to help faculty migrate course materials and populate eLearn course shells to align with the Essential Elements. This should be a great help to those who are working to develop their first eLearn course, and for those who simply need help in developing additional courses.
The student’s areas of responsibilities will include:
- the configuration of navigation bars and homepages,
- the installation and editing of Course Information templates,
- the upload and organization of course files, and
- the management of Master courses.
Working under the direction of the Instructional Technologists in CTL, each student will have primary responsibility for one School and will be available for 35 hours a week throughout the summer.
As a result of this project, it is hoped that all Mohawk College courses will have a configured eLearn course area by September 2011.

Please join me in welcoming Jason, Richard, Kim, Heather and Maddison to the CTL eLearning Team this summer.
